Snowdonia National Park

How to Get to Snowdonia

Snowdonia National Park can be a bit difficult to get to, but it is definitely worth the trip!

The closest major airport to Snowdonia is Liverpool John Lennon Airport, and is about a 1.5hr drive or a 4hr train ride from Snowdonia National Park.

I recommend renting a car if you are interested in exploring Snowdonia and rural areas of Wales.

If you are coming by train, there are several train stations outside of the National Park, but then you must take a bus further into Snowdonia. Use google maps and select public transportation in order to find  bus & timetable information.
