Santorini

Santorini is one of the most well-known and frequently visited Greek Islands! It is absolutely beautiful and is built along the cliffs of an ancient volcano.

Santorini has two main towns that I suggest visiting – Oia and Thira/Fira.

Oia is the most well-known and most photographed village in Santorini, and is known for its famous nightly sunsets. It is the more luxurious town, having high-end hotels & shops along its narrow walkways and white stone buildings. It is also known for its luxurious cave hotels.

Thira/Fira is the main town of Santorini, and is closer to the cruise harbor. As it is up on the cliff, there is a cable car going up and down the cliff face to the waterfront below. You can also choose to take an iconic donkey ride up the hill, just like they used to do in the olden days. Thira also has great shopping and amazing restaurants with sweeping views over the water.
