The main airport is Aeropuerto de Málaga – Costa del Sol (AGP), and is a 15 minute drive from downtown.

Calle Marqués de Larios is the main pedestrian street, and is a great place to start your exploration of the city. Then branch out from there and explore the historic city center, enjoy the shopping streets, and all the cafes & restaurants.
Stop by Catedral de la Encarnación de Málaga – the main cathedral of Málaga which stands in the heart of the city.
Right between the main town and the waterfront are the scenic gardens of Parque de Málaga.
Málaga has the most beautiful waterfront area! The Dock Promenade stretches along the waterfront all the way down to the cruise port. It has shops, cafes, restaurants, and a large beautiful walking area.
At the very end of the Dock Promenade and next to the cruise port is the beautiful beach, Playa la Malagueta, where you can go swimming, walking, or just relax in the sand.

Visit the Alcazaba – a hilltop medieval fortress overlooking the sea with beautiful fountain-filled gardens.
