Isle of Skye

How to Get to Isle of Skye

The Isle of Skye is fairly difficult to get to as it is located far up in the northwest part of Scotland and is a bit remote.

Isle of Skye can be reached via Glasgow, Edinburgh, or Inverness airports. From there, it is a 2.5-4.5 hour drive to Isle of Skye depending on which airport you are coming from.

The closest train station to Isle of Skye is Kyle of Lochalsh. From there you will need to take a car or bus over the bridge onto the island.
