How to Get to Ghent

Ghent is fairly easy to reach! It doesn’t have a main airport to fly into, but you can fly into Brussels, Paris, or Amsterdam and easily take the train over.

The main train station is Gent Sint Pieters station, which is a 25-30 min walk from the city center along Koning Albertlaan street. The best option is to take tram lines 1 (direction Evergem) or line 21 to the Korenmarkt tram stop – the nearest tram stop to the stunning main square in the heart of the city.
