The Cotswolds

How to Get to the Cotswolds

The Cotswolds are small villages located in the countryside of south-central England. They are fairly easy to reach from London, but I would definitely suggest visiting with a car!

The closest airport to the Cotswolds is London Heathrow, and from there it is about a 1.5 hour drive to the Cotswolds.

The best way to visit the Cotswolds is via car, as they are made up of several small towns and there is very little public transportation in between.

Most towns in the Cotswolds do not have train stations, but you can get fairly close by arriving at one of these train stations – Moreton-in-Marsh, Gloucester, or Swindon Stations.
