How to Get to Berlin

Berlin is located in the northeastern part of Germany and is very easy to reach.

The main airport is Berlin Brandenburg Airport (BER). From there the Airport Express and regional trains run four times an hour from the airport station to Berlin Central Station. In addition, the S-Bahns S9 and S45 run from the airport to Berlin city center. If traveling by car, the BER terminals are easy to reach via the A113 and the B96a.

The main train station is Berlin Central Train Station/Berlin Hbf, and is a 4 minute ride via public transportation into town.

What to Do in Berlin

Berlin is Germany’s capital city, and has been the heart of Germany since the 13th century.

The main shopping & pedestrian street in Berlin is Ku’damm/Kurfurstendam. It is filled with cafes, restaurants, and shops to explore.

The Brandenburg Gate is the most well known attraction in Berlin! During the Cold War, it was located in no man’s land – between East & West Germany.

Nearby is the Reichstag Building – Germany’s Parliament building. You can visit it, as tours are offered when parliament is not sitting.

The Topography of Terror is a history museum documenting the horrors of the Nazi Regime during World War II.

Not far from there is the Memorial to the Murdered Jews in Europe – memorializing all the Jews that were murdered during World War II.
