How to Get to Eze

Eze is a medieval hilltop village located on the southern coast of France, and is fairly easy to get to. However as the town is located up on a rocky cliff, you must reach the top via car or bus.

The closest airport to Eze is Nice Côte d’Azur Airport and is about 25 minutes away.

If you are arriving by train, you will come into Eze Station. From there you will need to take an 83 bus up to Eze Village. This takes 15 min, costs €2, and departs every four hours. Otherwise you can take a taxi or a car up to the top.

What to Do in Eze

Eze is a medieval French village known for its beauty and charm.

Eze is located on the top of a rocky cliff and has cute winding cobblestone streets, little shops, art galleries, cafes, restaurants, and hotels.

The best thing to do in Eze is to wander the winding streets and enjoy the breathtaking views from the top over the Mediterranean Sea.

At the top of Eze, you will find Le Jardin Exotique – a mountaintop garden known for its picturesque views of the ocean!

Where to Eat in Eze

If you are looking for ambience, there are several cafes and restaurants throughout the hillside village.

The most highly recommended restaurant is Le Nid d’Aigle, which has beautiful indoor & outdoor seating and serves delicious pasta & seafood.

Visit Le Cactus for authentic French cuisine including crepes & galettes!

Château Eza has a gorgeous hotel restaurant with stunning views. Just make sure to make a reservation!

Hôtel Château de La Chèvre d’Or is another great hotel in Eze village that has three restaurants and a bar. Make sure to make a reservation here as well!

Weather in Eze

The weather here varies depending on what time of year it is and the current weather patterns.

The warm season lasts from June to September, with an average daily temperature above 76°F. The hottest month of the year in Èze is August, with an average high of 81°F and low of 69°F.

The cool season lasts from November to March, with an average daily temperature below 60°F. The coldest month of the year in Èze is January, with an average low of 42°F and high of 55°F.
